Questions?
When buying or selling a home in Florida, you could have your Mortgage Co. asking for inspections. One of those inspections may likely involve termites. You may want to know what is necessary to prevent infestation or a copy of the inspection report itself. Below are many of the most common questions and their answers which we hope you will find helpful and give you peace of mind.
Q. How Much Is A Termite Inspection
A. Costs vary on the size of the home. Custom Pest Control & Termite charges $50 to $100 for a written inspection. We will mail this report to the company for your closing and fax copies to your real estate agents.
Q. Why Do I Need A Termite Inspection?
A. Buyers get piece of mind that they are not purchasing a damaged house. Many lenders require the WDO Report to insure there is no termites or damage with the home they are financing.
Q. What Areas Of My House Do You Inspect?
A. A licensed inspector will skillfully check the entire structure. This includes such areas as attics, crawl spaces, and the entire interior and exterior of your home. For a more detailed list of inspections please visit our services page.
Q. What If No Evidence Is Found?
A. Custom Termite & Pest Control will send a report to the title company that no evidence was found in all areas that were accessible to the inspector. As a minimum towards protecting your investment we recommend an annual termite inspection.
